Côte is a new nail care brand and nail salon, which just opened a flagship location in Brentwood, Los Angeles.

The nail polish collection includes 109 different “5-Free” lacquers – free of formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, camphor and formaldehyde resin.

The collection is sold on the brand’s new e-commerce site, at coteshop.co.

The brand’s founders, Mary Lennon and Leah Yari, wanted to create an “elegant nail experience,” and the shop’s vibe was designed to capture the California beach lifestyle combined with a hint of southern France.

The nail polish is packaged in clear round bottles, with simple elegant gray labels featuring the brand’s logo.

“Leah and I began this adventure by chatting about all things we didn’t like in the nail world, and then we set out to remove the negative aspects from the entire nail experience- from the environment, to the service, to the employees, to the actual products themselves, explained Mary Lennon, co-founder.

Lennon continued, “Grubby magazines are replaced with fully loaded iPads, pre-service payment options assist with preserving the perfect manicure post-service, and an all-around elevated nail care experience and five-free polish line ensures comfort and ease.”
